Holy hell!!! (pardon my french) We didn't even have this many bugs come to our lights when we were blacklighting in Costa Rica!

Thinking further, I bet we had WAY better diversity though. I see a lot of white-lined sphinx moths in this. Still mind-boggling numbers though!!

Many of the entomologists on the trip (who have been blacklighting in tropical countries before) said they had never seen numbers like that night! But you're right, limited diversity - lots of sphinx moths and lygaeid bugs.

And probably a bunch of tiny things that are terrible to key out. I love sphinx moths though, so seeing that many would be pretty awesome.
