It has no fear. I admit, I might have been a bit worried at first though. Great picture!

Millipedes might try to nibble, but they are herbivores - so their jaws are meant for plants. They don't have venom and can't really hurt you. Though some species produce cyanide in their bodies, so don't eat them!

(you may be thinking of centipedes though, which *do* have venom and a nasty bite)

Oh it could be centipedes then, its this one anyway: [link] I heard they have a painful bite/sting, must be cause of that venom then!
All these years i have had centipedes and millipedes mixed up XD
I actually have a phobia of 'Scutigera coleoptrata' Im not sure why normally insects dont worry me

Whoa that must have been pretty intense. Do they lay eggs or give live birth lik mammels? (sp?)

I am pretty sure it was a live birth, which I did not expect. This was years ago and I knew very little about them, except that they loved the veggie scraps I gave them and some moisture. At least I never noticed a cache of eggs.

Oh my gosh that's weird. I expected them to lay eggs or something you know since most bugs do that. Thats pretty facinating! I officially have a new wrinkle in my brain! Thanks!

Millipedes are herbivorous and totally harmless (unless you try to eat one, they've got cyanide). I have two small southwestern species as pets, used to have a few of the giant african ones.

wutttt i know that there are dangerous ones out there lol, man vs. wild, bare grylls or w/e ran into a huge red one and explained how you would not want to get into a confrontation with one, and proceeded to not go near it XD. Unless i knew somethin about them i wouldnt go near one lol

You're thinking about centipedes (they're the ones with venom glands/fangs)
